With unprecedented drone activity predicted to continue in 2021, Robin Radar Systems have confirmed their largest multi-year deal yet, with C-UAS Defence System Integrator, Diehl Defence.

Diehl Defence delivers high-tech equipment to the defence and security sector. The company is a global technology leader the fields of guided missiles, reconnaissance, C-UAS Systems and in advanced system solutions for Ground-Based Air Defence (GBAD).

Diehl Defence placed an order for an undisclosed number of the latest IRIS® systems, representing the largest counter drone radar contract in Robin’s history.

IRIS® is positioned as Robin’s ‘no-compromise’ radar, with engineers challenged to design and build a product that wouldn’t fall short in any key area of performance, under any circumstance.

Launched in November 2020, it comes to the market after three years of careful development, explicitly aimed to provide uncompromising insight in the high-pressured world of defence and security.
