Robin Radar Systems is exhibiting at the Bird Protection at Wind Turbines Conference in Kassel, Germany.

The event itself is being hosted by the Competence Center for Nature Conservation and Energy Transition (KNE).

Come and meet us at the KulturBahnhof in Kassel on 15th and 16th May and talk to us about how we can help you minimise wind farm impact and mitigate bird mortality.

The theme of the conference is ‘detection systems as an opportunity for a nature-friendly wind energy development’.

The symposium deals in detail with detection systems for the reduction of bird collisions at wind turbines and appropriate operating regulations.

On the first day of the conference, the current state-of-the-art on science and practice will be presented, with a focus on ongoing camera and radar pilot projects.

The second day is for discussion.

  • What opportunities and risks do use of the systems offer against the background of the current state of testing and knowledge?
  • Can forecast uncertainties about the existence of a significantly increased mortality risk be reduced with the help of automated detection?
  • When is detection in conjunction with automated operations regulation an effective preventive measure?

For the full program and to sign up for the event go to the KNE website.

Hope to see you there!
