Robin Radar Systems has moved to a new research, engineering, and operations hub in Delft, expanding capacity for product development, prototyping, and industrialisation to rapidly meet growing counter-UAS demand from global allies.
We’re proud to officially announce the opening of our highly anticipated Delft HQ, a 9,000 sqm manufacturing, research, engineering, and operations facility in Delft, tripling our previous operational capacity and creating one of Europe’s largest facilities dedicated to radar development and production.
Three times larger than our previous headquarters, the facility represents a major expansion of Europe's sovereign defence industrial base at a time when demand for C-UAS technology is accelerating at an unprecedented rate. The move comes just weeks after launching our new operational facility in Northern Virginia.
Advancing capability to meet global demand
Following three consecutive years of 60% year-on-year growth and an installed global base of more than 800 radar systems, we’re expanding our operational footprint to meet increasing demand from defence organisations, government agencies, and critical infrastructure operators across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and allied nations.
The facility announcement comes as global conflicts and sustained geopolitical instability continue to reshape defence and homeland security priorities. From protecting military bases and critical infrastructure to securing major public events such as the FIFA World Cup, governments are increasingly turning to proven, off-the-shelf C-UAS systems that can be delivered rapidly and continuously improved as threats evolve.

Greater capacity, faster innovation
The increased capacity at our Delft HQ allows us to accelerate the development and industrialisation of existing and future radar systems, with expanded capabilities for prototyping, specialised production, system integration, testing and servicing. Designed to support our next phase of growth, the facility provides a space in which we can develop new product lines and customer-specific solutions, while working alongside manufacturing partners to scale series production in line with growing demand.
Operational feedback from live deployments in Ukraine, the EU, and the Gulf have already driven major software innovations, including IRIS Long-Range Mode (LRM), which extended the system's instrumented range from five to 12 kilometres, and our new maritime capability, enabling IRIS to operate aboard large vessels. With our new HQ now operational, we expect to accelerate this innovation cycle, while substantially increasing manufacturing output.
Long-term scale and European sovereignty
Designed to support our long-term growth, the new headquarters is big enough to host our ever-growing team. By the end of 2026, we expect to employ more than 300 people, with capacity for continued expansion in the years ahead. As such, our customer support and service facilities have increased fourfold to support our rapidly growing installed base, while our location adjacent to Delft University of Technology strengthens access to world-class engineering talent and reinforces our innovation pipeline.
Beyond production, the HQ represents a significant investment in European technological sovereignty. As NATO members seek trusted regional suppliers capable of delivering critical defence technologies at scale, the ability to manufacture, develop, and continuously improve radar systems entirely within Europe has become strategically important. The new facility strengthens both the resilience of our supply chain and Europe's wider counter-UAS industrial ecosystem.
