Guus Verhees has been responsible for the Dutch Greentech Fund and Mainport Innovation Fund since its beginning in 2009. Guus started his career as a management trainee with the ING Group. Between 2000 and 2009, Guus set up several companies as a self-employed entrepreneur and he worked as a strategic consultant. He holds a degree in Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Michael Stam joined INKEF in August 2012 as its Chief Executive Officer. Prior to INKEF, Michael designed and built a unique Platform within APG Asset Management, where the exposures of non-Dutch pension funds are being managed, monitored and serviced. Before this, Michael co-managed APG's Equity Platform (developed and emerging markets), where his special focus lay on the selection and monitoring of the diverse pool of external asset managers. Michael developed and implemented the structuring of the search process, the performance of the due diligence and construction of the portfolio. In this capacity, Michael has closely worked with a vast array of external asset managers, ranging from the well-known 'household' names to small 'hidden jewels' and start-up managers. Michael holds a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Leiden, a Master's degree Business Administration from the Interfaculty of Delft and a Master's degree in Real Estate from the Amsterdam School of Real Estate.
Luuth van der Scheer
Luuth van der Scheer is investor and managing director at Made Smart Group BV, a highly innovative software solutions provider in the maritime industry. He is strategy adviser and business consultant in the basic metals industry. Mr. van der Scheer was interim Chief Executive Officer of BlueCielo ECM Solutions BV during 2010, where he was responsible for the overall strategy, management and the turn-around of the company. He has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the Software, Systems and heavy Process industries. Mr. van der Scheer served as the Chief Executive Officer of the stock-exchange listed air traffic and maritime traffic software company HITT NV. He held this position from July 1, 2000 to February 21, 2007. Prior to that, from August 1, 1980 onwards, he built an impressive international career at Hoogovens, which later became Corus (now Tata), a leading steel and aluminium manufacturer. Mr. van der Scheer holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Administration, the latter from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Next to the supervisory board position at ROBIN Radar BV, he is Chairman at the non-executive board of OSD – IMT Ltd, member of the supervisory board of WorldWiseMarine BV.
